There is a new edition to our little plant family, a venus fly trap. I got this for Kev to replace the one he had a few yars ago. Unfortunately, Savage (r.i.p.) fell prey to the sun and lack of humidity. This lil guy has some mean looking teeth! Hopefully we can keep him alive longer than the last one.
We watched this thing devour a little fly. It was almost as terrifying as it was amazing. You can see where one of the 'heads' is closed. Thats because its now going to be digesting that fly for the next 12 days. Maybe now I can stop chasing those irritating flies!
